The Art of Yoga & Stretching ~ BREATHING

We've all been there, trying to complete a pose or stretch and feeling like we just can not accomplish it! Have you been paying attention to your breathing during those efforts? Breathing helps to relax your muscles and when you're breathing correctly, you will notice the positions become easier to achieve!


Lets test our breathing practices!


Lying on your back, place the palm of your hand over your stomach. When you breath in you want to feel your hand being pushed up by your stomach. This is caused by you breathing using your diaphragm! As you breath out, you should feel your hand being lowered. Use this method to take deep, long breaths!
